WHO celebrates World COPD day in a bid to increase awareness and get people to quit smoking so as to avoid the hazardous effects it has on one’s health. COPD is a condition that can never be fully treated and must always cause the patient a certain level of distress and physical limitation. We wanted to show our members first hand, the suffering borne by these patients so they would adopt the necessary measures to prevent it from happening in their circle. Chest physiotherapy, an integral part of their curriculum was well taught.

Caduceus celebrated World COPD day by conducting a practical chest physiotherapy session for our junior members on 16th November at DY Patil physiotherapy institute.
